Recently I’ve had a client return to the gym after taking a brief hiatus, upon returning she expressed her lack of commitment as it related to her eating as the reason why she took a pause. Although she was consistent with her workouts and noticed improvements in strength and in her ability to move better, the fat loss which was a part of overall goals, continued to elude her. She knew the only way to achieve her goal was to modify the way she was eating. It would take the same commitment she gave to her workouts, after sorting out what she needed to do, she set a date to return to the gym, the date was Tuesday, 6/25/2018.
She made that date almost a month prior and on June 25th she showed up and continues to show up in big fashion. With a renewed motivation to reach that fat loss goal she continues to reach milestones on a weekly basis, in her workout, with eating healthier and her fat loss goals.

I have known Angelo for several years and while I was always a bit overweight, I always thought that I could handle it myself. I am a 50 year old male and am 5’ 11”. I hit rock bottom when I was 275 lbs and was told by my doctor that I was pre-diabetic. I tried going to the gym but was not seeing any results.
Finally, I came to see Angelo and I’m happy that I did. Angelo taught me that the first step to my being healthy (not losing weight) was my diet. Sure, he had me doing some easy exercises to begin, but once I started eating healthy, we started ramping up. I have lost 65 lbs in 10 months, maintained a healthy diet, and can actually see muscle definition.
I can walk up the stairs, carry groceries and play with my kids without getting out of breath. Unlike some diets whose sole purpose is to help you lose WEIGHT, Angelo helped me to become HEALTHY. I reconnected with Angelo at Centre Athletic in June 2017 after a few years of minimal exercise and a questionable diet. He immediately began exploring my goals: lose a few pounds, tone and build muscle.
Angelo assessed my overall health and then designed a plan that was correctly calibrated for my physical condition. He encouraged me to challenge myself even when I “hit a wall”. The fitness plan has changed many times over the past 15 months allowing me to achieve my goals and with Angelo’s coaching, set new goals.
